When you are building a multi-channel chatbot it is often useful to check on what channel the user is talking: is it Facebook? Is it WhatsApp? Depending on the answer you may choose to follow a flow or another.
To check your user current channel you can use the built-in variable bot_channel in a Variable Switch Action like below:
